SWADESH - Sudhir's Welfare Association for Developement of Education, Sanitation and Health, is a non-governmental organization based in Jorhat, Assam in India working for the upliftment of the rural areas of Assam and its neighbouring states. Its primary concern is to improve health and sanitation conditions among women and children.

The society has the following objectives:

a. To be a charitable voluntary organization for the overall development of a community.
b. Sensitization of the community about the need of education (formal and informal), good sanitary practices (personal and environmental) and healthy productive life desirable for community development.
c. To focus on health status of all members of a community in general and women and children, in particular, for quality human resource development.
d. To build capacity on skills available in a community for entrepreneurial development/empowering SHGs.
e. Mass educational programmes with the help of exhibitions, popular talks, fairs and method demonstration etc. to educate the community for becoming responsible citizen, capable of assisting in logistic implementation of all developmental projects/schemes launched by Government or other developmental agencies etc. designed for community welfare.
f. To create databases on vital and health statistics.
g. Publication of bulletins on need-based topics and to bring out promotional material etc. to motivate people.
h. Any other activities related to above objectives as approved by the executive committee and/or General body meeting.
